Ok I have not posted in WEEKS... about my gratitude. I was afraid this might happen... I will try to be better.
So my thing I am grateful for today is NETWORKING... Yup I am so grateful for Facebook, Twitter, and especially BLOGGING! A free form of expression that also keeps me in touch with my loved ones :)

Sarah's Week 4
Day 22: Sunday, January 22, 2012: Today I was grateful for two things. Firstly I am thankful for my Annieface. It is her birthday and I am grateful she was born! I love her to pieces! Also I am grateful for spiritually filling Sunday's. I really felt the Spirit today and really felt I was where I needed to be, and got a good kick in the right direction.
Day 23: Monday, January 23, 2012: Today was supposed to be rainy ALL DAY, and I had to commute into Oakland for an interview. I was lucky enough to be out during the only break in the storm. THANK YOU! Business clothes don't work well in the elements! Also I am so grateful for Anna from Nelson for getting me interviews whenever I am available for work!
Day 24: Tuesday, January 24, 2012: Today I am grateful for workouts that are WORK OUTS!!! My trainer had me doing one legged squats while holding a 25lb weight. It killed in an awesome way!
Day 25: Wednesday, January 25, 2012: Today I found a GROUPON coupon for the movie "One For the Money." Yeah for coupons and discounts! Also today is my dear friend Cherie's birthday! I am grateful you are here on this earth and that we can celebrate you! And thirdly today is Robbie Burns birthday. Thank you, you great Scottish poet you! I just wish I were eating haggis so I could properly celebrate!
Day 26: Thursday, January 26, 2012: I love being able to do my taxes online, and having the refund direct deposited!!!
Day 27: Friday, January 27, 2012: Today I had another job interview and I just realized how lucky and blessed I am that I am comfortable being myself in interviews. I know so many people who struggle with interviews and just what to say. In some ways they are just like auditions. (I only wish I were as good at auditions as I am at job interviews.) I think it is so important to be yourself when in an interview. --- Random thing to be thankful for... I know.
Day 28: Saturday, January 28, 2012: I was able to see "One for the Money" with my sister Kari and my Momo. We have all read ALL of that book series, and it was so much fun to see the movie adaptation together. I love when books I love are turned into movies. (I just wish it had been a bit better... the film that is.)

Sarah's Week 3
Day 15: Sunday January 15, 2012: I was still feeling nauseous and dizzy from the weekend of migraines, and craved poached eggs on toast. I am really grateful for the healing power of perfect poached eggs!
Day 16: Monday January 16, 2012: I am grateful for Kari for getting me addicted to a TV show. I could call it new, because I previously had never seen it, but "Prison Break" has been over for quite some time. Why did I never give this show a try when it first came out! SERIOUSLY!(Yeah watched at least 6 episodes from Season 1, in 1 day!)
Day 17: Tuesday January 17, 2012: Today at my temp job I had a discussion of Christianity and the morals of society today with the girl that was training me. I love when people can discuss their beliefs, and opinions without it getting heated. I love understanding and communication. There are great people everywhere!
Day 18: Wednesday January, 18, 2012: I am just so grateful for good people who support and befriend. Something odd happened with this supposed long term temp job, and the job fell through for the time being, and already people are trying to get me jobs and interviews. Thank you thank you thank you!
Day 19: Thursday January 19, 2012: I am grateful for the joys of working out, and seeing progress. I ran a mile without stopping! I know it's not much, but it is progress.
Also today is my dear friend Chalise's birthday! She is an incredible human being who is a continual example of light and joy. She is great to be around and continually strives to better herself. I'm so happy to know her. Love you Hermana Ludlow!
Day 20: Friday January 20, 2012: I've totally become addicted to Words with friends… I'm grateful for nerdy games that keep me competitive and occupied!
Day 21: Saturday January 21, 2012: Momo and I had a movie night. We went to RedBox and rented "Dolphin Tale" and "The Help". Both wonderful movies, and it made a great night of cinema and family. I love spending time with Momo.

Sarah's Week 2
Day 8: Sunday January 8, 2012: The first Sunday of the year was a good one. I love how supportive and strengthening a Testimony sacrament meeting can be.
Day 9: Monday January 9, 2012: Today Kari and I had a marathon of watching the first season of Boy Meets World which I got for her for Christmas. I love that show. I forgot how much I loved and wanted my own Mr. Feeny!
Day 10: Tuesday January 10, 2012: I am so thankful for my personal trainer. She seems to be personally tailored to kick my behind. It's awesome!
Day 11: Wednesday January 11, 2012: I am really grateful for good credit. I have been worried about mine for so long, but apparently it is okay! Of course there is always room for improvement.
Day 12: Thursday January 12, 2012: I am so grateful for the simple joy in driving. It is so freeing. (Now not as freeing as riding a motorcycle, but still awesome.)
Day 13: Friday January 13, 2012: This is going to sound really weird but I was really grateful for commuting. I love taking BART, and I love the shuttle. I don't know why, but I just feel so grown up commuting to work.
Day 14: Saturday January 14, 2012: I am so grateful for the healing powers in sleep. I had one of the worst migraines on Friday that had me knocked out for 14 hours. Then I rested all of Saturday. Really I love sleep, so any excuse is great, but I love that rest is one of the greatest things you can do to heal!

Reality or Fiction??
Well I knew it would happen
sooner rather than later that I would stop posting every single day. It's not
that I have been super busy because I really haven't. I have actually been
laying around being a total bum the last few days. I am in a sort of
funk/rut/low point whatever you want to call it so for a couple days it was hard
to remember any little thing I was grateful for... which is why I think this
little project may be good for me.
So that being said the thing I am grateful for today?? Stephanie Plum. Who is Stephanie Plum? she is a fictional character in the books by Janet Evanovich. Yup I am grateful for a fictional person.. weird I know but when I am reading these books my life seems less like a hot mess and more put together. Compared to her... except she has 2 hot men in her life... and I have no hot men... *sigh* Instead of a hamster I have a beagle and I definitely don't keep my gun in a cookie jar.

Tender Mercies Of The Lord
So like my friend Samalama I am jumping on the gratitude train, but I wasn't sure what format I would like to go with. Every day is daunting... I almost failed with the picture a day project, but luckily had a bit of time each day to post. (And I'm really glad I did it... lots of great memories captured.) So I think with this goal I will post once a week.
So here are the daily things I was grateful for in 2012:
Day 1: Sunday January 1, 2012: Being able to visit Carthage Jail with my aunt. It really was a wonderful way to start out the year. (I know that sounds morbid, but I will try to explain.) I was grateful to have that focus on my faith at the very start of the year, and I hope that will be a trend for me this year.
Day 2: Monday January 2, 2012: Today I was really grateful for workout videos. It was too cold to workout outside so I'm glad I had Billy Blank and Gillian Michaels to kick my behind!
Day 3: Tuesday January 3, 2012: I'm so grateful for my cousin Pat and his daughter Abby. They convinced me to try rock climbing... and I freaking love it! Now that does not mean I'm very good at it, but I do love it, and can't wait to try it again.
Day 4: Wednesday January 4, 2012:I am really grateful for pets. My aunt and uncle have a 6 month old Jack Russell Terrier named Maggie who is a giant love. She loves unconditionally and almost uncontrollably. And sometimes you need that smothery slobbery love.
Day 5: Thursday January 5, 2012: Today was awesome because there was a family dinner made by Granee Carol! Her cooking is amazing, and my family is hilarious. I really need to be closer to these people. They make me laugh, and really happy to be a Jagger.
Day 6: Friday January 6, 2012: Today I am grateful for church buildings. My grandparents drove me to see the Chicago temple, and on the way home they showed me the Catholic church that they attend. It was built in 1860 and it is a truly beautiful building. And it was awesome to share our beliefs and our faith.
Day 7: Saturday January 7, 2012: This is going to sound really strange, but I have to say I am grateful for airports. They are just the coolest place, and I love the feeling of knowing you're traveling. It always feels like I'm going on an adventure. Even if I'm just heading home.
So that is the first week, lets hope that posting once a week will make it easier to keep up the goal. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Beagle Baby...
Now I am on day five of this journey of gratitude and I of course have to mention how grateful I am for my beagle baby. For the last 9 years I have been lucky enough to have such a wonderful 4 legged, furry little person in my life. She loves me no matter what, she never talks bad about me and she always knows how to make me smile.

Reality T.V.
Yup... I am actually grateful for reality t.v.... I know this is quite surprising ( no I am not being sarcastic... for once). The reason however that I am grateful for reality t.v.? Makes me glad my life is not that ridiculous, stupid, sad or well insane in some cases. :) I like shows like Mob Wives, Jerseylicious (stop judging me), Americas Next Top Model, Ultimate Fighter, Teen Mom, Swamp People (which I would like to be my REAL life) just to name a few.
I do not, under any circumstance watch the following: American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With the Stars, X Factor, Biggest Loser, Bachelor, Bachelorette or anything really involving singing/dancing/making an ass of ones self on national t.v.or on MTV, except Teen Mom.

Friends
Day 3 in my exploration of gratitude..... I would like to express my gratitude to my friends. I am the luckiest girl in the world. I have so many friends that are not only willing to stand by my side but are willing to push me forward towards my dreams and are willing to help me achieve my dreams.

Gratitude day one
Day one of my gratitude posts and it is not surprising I would pick my parents. These are two of the most amazing people EVER! They believe in me when I don't believe in myself.
