Alright, so I moved to Utah in late July, and started searching for a job. Now I got bored after sending my resume to 30 different jobs, so in between interviews and checking my emails I started reading the Twilight series. Now my friends had been telling me about them since I was on my mission, and I vowed I would not read them because I thought they were lame. We curiosity got the best of me. I started reading twilight on a day I didn't have any interviews... and I finished it in a day!
Then I knew I was hooked... I needed to know what happened next.
So the next day I started reading New Moon, and I had several interviews, so I took it along and read it between interview and lunch. I finished that book in two days. Again I had to know what happened next. The books are so dang catchy and Stephenie Meyer's writes in such a way that you are drawn into her world almost automatically.
Now I was reading eclipse when I had my first interview at InnerLight. I had no idea that the entire call center were just on the verge of reading Breaking Dawn. It was coming out that weekend. Again.. I had no idea how big these books were at this point. I didn't even know that they were making a Twilight movie yet. I have no idea how I was so completely naive about this world... until I was sucked in. I read eclipse in about three days. And at this point I was facing my second interview at InnerLight. And that was when I met Samiee... she was coming to the front door to feed a wandering duck some Wheat Thins. Sorry... I will get back to the obsession.
Now I started Breaking Dawn the day before I got hired at InnerLight. Unknown to me, the frenzy of reading Breaking Dawn had already started in the Call Center. (Matt told me that Samiee pre-ordered it at Amazon.com, and had it sent to the office so she could get it quicker... I know now that she has all of her packages sent here... it wasn't just Breaking Dawn) Now Breaking Dawn is a long book... and so it took me like 4-5 days to read it I think. Or I might have read it quickly and then went back and read it again. I'm not quite sure which. But Hilary and I were reading it at the same time.
Then once we had all completed the story... we couldn't wait for the movie. We were so excited to see any trailers or clips that we found on the Internet. And then opening night Hilary, Rachel Mecham, and Dennis all went together to see it. I know Dennis was dragged along, but he was a good sport. I wish I could say that the obsession was quenched then. Sadly, it wasn't. Hilary and I went to see it 3 more times in as many weeks. Then slowly that obsession dwindled to make way for the next one. We really seem to jump from one to another. But this was our first link to one another... awww.... so cute! (Sorry for the sappiness!)
Oh I will confess that most of us read the 240 leaked pages of Midnight Sun (Twilight from Edwards perspective.) Yeah... I know... we're obsessed. But something tells me we won't be as obsessed when New Moon comes out this year. But we'll see, we might relapse.

Things WE (Sarah and Samiee) find funny
OK here are a list of things/people we find funny and also WHY we (Sarah and Samiee) think it is funny!
When we are "bored"* at work.... we send eachother clips from youtube of the funny people listed below. It brightens everyones' day to hear us, Samiee especially, giggling then the clips eventually get shared amongst the group!
* I say "bored" b/c that NEVER happens! hehehe
Here are some current faves:
*Chelsea Handler-She is just funny and has a HILARIOUS and innapropriate nickname for her father!!
*Russell Brand-"You had me at BITCH BOY!" Go check him out on http://www.youtube.com/ Russell Brand in New York
*Tim Minchin-"If you open your mind to much... your brain will fall out!"
*Jo Koy-"SANK A YOU!!! OWANGE CHICKEN!"
*Loni Love- aka Black Magic
*Squint Squad- From BONES... their lack of social skills make me and Sarah feel like pop star icons!!!
* Jim Gaffigan- " Kitty wants some candy!"
Bones!
Okay so we are totally obsessed with bones... for example... yesterday was Memorial Day... and how did we celebrate? Have a Bones marathon of our favorites! Now we have had this planned for quite some time, and to my surprise... TNT has stolen our idea. Now they showed episodes from only the second season... whereas we were diverse and picked favorites from the three seasons available on DVD.
The ones we watched were...
-Man in a Bear (Season One)
-Two Bodies in the Lab (Season One)
-Man in the Morgue (Season One)
-Aliens in a Spaceship (Season Two)
-Lady in the Sand (Season Two)
-Mummy in the Maze (Season Three)
I can think of no better way to spend a holiday! Watching Bones... eating one and a half medium pizzas, and downing a whole 2 liter of Dr. Pepper!
Good Day!
