Thursday
Today was the day we had free to roam Bruges. We decided first to climb the clock tower. It's apparently the thing you do here. So we did... all 366 steps of it. The first picture is of said tower.
Then when we finished Dierdre gave Ioanna a sour straw. She had never had one before and this is the face she made. She thought it was going to be sweet, not sour. Needless to say she really didn't like it.
Then we decided to go on a walk around the canals. Usually there is a boat tour, but he canals were mostly frozen, and so the boat rides were closed. But I got some really gorgeous pictures of Bruges. It's really beautiful, and small enough to walk around.
