Eat Pray Love

Okay, so Sama Lama got me hooked on the book Eat, Pray, Love. It is incredible, and it was the type of book that I just wanted to slowly read. Probably because I felt like I was on this adventure with her, but I never wanted her to leave any of her locations.

I seriously loved all I learned about her, and then applied to myself. It was such an awesome transformational book, without trying to be. It was witty, smart, inspirational, forgiving, and most importantly loving.

I would recommend this to anyone really. Although they might not get as much out of it as I did. It came at the perfect time!

Now I'm really excited for the movie, but I'm not sure if it will be well received by all. It will be a calm and introspective movie I suspect, and those aren't HUGE draws. But I'm excited to see how Julia does!

Sarah's recent interests!

Okay, so I'm reading a new series... I am not as obsessed with it as I was with the Stephanie Plum series... but so far it is really interesting me... mostly because it's a murder mystery series that takes place in Edinburgh! Each of the books, the murders take place in different parts of the city. And I'm learning my more about some of the hidden nooks and crannies of my favorite city in the world! (Well I haven't been to the entire world, but my favorites of the world I've seen so far!)

The book series is by Ian Rankin, and it's called the Inspector Rebus series. There about 15 books in the series.

This HAS to be a joke.... please say this is a joke!

So I go to the Dr. for my follow up visit. Thanks to all of my much needed medications I have to go to the Dr. every 3-4 months to make sure they are doing their job. This last visit I was telling the Dr. about how tired I am lately and that even though I am not eating much I am bloated and feel like crap. He tells me he thinks I may have food allergies. Especially to milk and wheat. Hmmm I think to myself, in an effort to feel better I have been eating better.... drinking more milk etc. So the Dr. took some blood and before the results were back he advised I limit my milk and wheat in take. I did and I immediatly felt better!!

So last week the nurse calls to tell me the results of my lab work....... dun dun dun... I have to limit and or eliminate soo many things from my diet... ARE YOU KIDDING me?? Like I need 1 more medical issue now I have to limit more foods? I am not suppose to have milk, eggs, wheat, barley, chocolate, tomatoes, bananas, carrots, yogurt and tea. There are a lot of other items on the list but these are the ones that make me the most sad to go with out.
This is just really frustrating..... I am already a really picky eater. Hopefully this is not forever...........

GLEE

You have the wannabe star, the hot football player, the gorgous black girl, the gay man, the stutterer with an amazing voice, the boy in the wheelchair, and the hot teacher. Put that all together and what do you get? GLEE. It is one of the funniest shows on television right now. The teachers wife is a beast and i think he needs to be with the counciler. Who is now engaged to the football coach. Then there is the head cheerleader who is dating the head football star. She is pregnant with the football stars friends baby but didnt tell him. And of course the funny cheerleading coach who is out to destroy them. Add amazing music and you have pure genious. If you have not seen the show i strongly suggest you do.

Morbid Obsession...............

So the newest show I can't get enough of is Dexter. This Showtime drama is so captivating I can't help but watch!! I know this show is about a sociopathic serial killer that has no disernable emotions (at first). As the show goes on you see he really has strong emotions towards his sister, girlfriend and some co-workers. It is intoxicating!! I am half way through season 2........ thank heavens for netflix!!!!!!

Sarah's Stephanie Plum Cast List

Alright, so almost everyone in the office is either addicted to or reading these books, and I decided to put up one of my cast lists. This one is a little more age appropriate. Man this was too stressful. For some reason I wanted it to be perfect, and I know it's not. But it will have to do!

Steve Buscemi to play VINNIE, the gross boss/extended family member.

Reese Witherspoon as VALERIE, Stephanies sister, who used to be the perfect one.

Michael Clark Duncan as TANK, the biggest of Rangers merry men.

Ginnifer Goodwin as STEPHANIE, the girl we all want to be, and sometimes are.

Wentworth Miller as RANGER (he'd need to go tanning for a bit), the drool worthy mentor/partner/other guy in Stephanie's life.

Eddie Cibrian as MORRELLI, the on again off again fiance.

Brittany Murphy as MARY LOU (Stephanie's best friend), who's always good to have along.

Kasey Russell as MARY ALICE, the 7 year old who thinks she's a horse.

Loni Love as LULA (or as we call her LULU), the best side kick ever.

Matthew Lillard as ALBERT KLOUGHN, the annoying and cute possible brother in law.

Scarlett Johansen as JOYCE, the skank we all want to see beat up several times.

Jane Kaczmarek as HELEN "MOM" PLUM, the mom we all fear.

Larry Miller as FRANK "DAD" PLUM, the coolest cat in town.

Betty White as "GRANDMA" EDNA MAZUR, the crazy grandma we all want to be someday.

Will Arnett as DICKIE ORR, the jerkface ex husband/lawyer.

Lean Ramini as CONNIE, the kick a office manager.

Tyrese Gibson as BENITO RAMIREZ, the crazy boxer.

Elle Fanning as ANGIE, the 9 year old going on 45.

Ok, so I have another list, which I don't think I'll be putting up, but Samiee has one as well. Ha ha ha... we really are obsessed.
